Frequently Asked Questions

Following our initial meeting and assessment, we typically facilitate the commencement of a carer’s services on the same day or at a time that aligns best with your preferences and your family’s schedule.

Prior to commencing our services, a deputy manager will conduct a visit to assess your care and support requirements. This visit also offers you the opportunity to address any queries you might have. Subsequent to this meeting, we develop a comprehensive care plan outlining your support needs, preferences, and favored routines. This care plan serves as the foundation of our support approach.

Carers are prohibited from visiting clients outside their designated working hours, forming friendships with them, or accepting gifts from those under their care. Adhering to a strict professional boundaries policy is essential for staff members, ensuring they deliver a compassionate service customized to each individual.

Our care workers are selected for their skills and compassionate personalities, ensuring they are capable of supporting and understanding your unique needs and preferences. You can anticipate your carers dedicating time to getting acquainted with you and your lifestyle, enabling them to deliver the highest quality, personalised service.

Recognising the potential unease caused by numerous individuals entering your home, we are dedicated to offering a reliable service through consistent carer assignments. Our efforts are directed towards facilitating continuity by scheduling the same named carers for your visits whenever feasible. Nevertheless, situations such as annual leave or sickness may necessitate a change in carer. During such instances, we endeavor to maintain continuity by assigning replacement carers, striving to uphold familiarity even in the absence of your regular carer.

There are currently three ways you can pay for care.

  1. Fully funded by the Local Authority, assessments are conducted on a means-tested basis.
  2. Direct payments involve the Local Authority contributing a portion toward care expenses, with the user or their family supplementing the remainder.
  3. Alternatively, individuals can opt for private funding, with Local Authorities available to conduct financial assessments to offer guidance and advice in this regard.
